Dublin and Glendalough, Ireland

After being on the continent for four ports, and we made our way to the land of saints and scholars.
First stop:  a full Irish breakfast

Hey!

About time:  truth in advertising

Culture Night gave us free bus rides

And free stories by the upper-deck storytellers

I went to the Printer's Museum and saw Gutenberg in action

And for the first time in my life, a working Linotype machine (very exciting if you teach media history)

The crawl ended at Davy Byrnes

Where you can still order a glass of port and a gorgonzola cheese sandwich

Indeed it is not

On the way back we stopped at a small beach town

Took some pictures

Thought about swimming...

Tested the waters...

Decided to go for it, but then changed our minds... until later when we got used to it.

Getting ready for the lifeboat drill as we head out of Ireland to Portugal

Littlies in survival gear:  hat, warm clothes, close-toed shoes, floatation device, goofy grins
