A Week With Grandfather John in Ipswich, Massachusetts

Rachel and six of the kids (Mercer was already in England) got to spend a week with Grandfather John and Grandmother Carrie in Ipswich, MA while I was in Japan.  When I arrived on August 14th, I got to spend one glorious day, having breakfast and conversation with my father, then spending the afternoon at Crane's Beach with the kids and Lisa, a student from Germany visiting the House of Peace for three weeks.

Genevieve takes to the water

And comes right back out -- too cold!

Adler is just cold, he is NOT peeing in his pants

Oliver and Genevieve get over the cold and get wet
